So after my recent trip to Savannah, I have started reading "MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL". I cannot put the book down! The book is about a true story of a murder that takes place in Mercer House.
I had never heard of this book, let alone the murder, but on our tour of Savannah, the
guide asked who had read the book? Every hand went up but mine! I was one of the few had visited Savannah without reading it.
Book or not book, I love Savannah.
It's official - I'm stalking you. Just kidding. I loved this book. I even wrote John Berendt a fan letter to which he graciously responded with a handwritten note. It was sitting on my dresser and my durfwad husband wrote a phone message on it. Gah.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have killed my husband! I didn't read the book until after my visit to Savannah. It was really neat to read it and actually be able to visualize the places.
