My Wedding...

This summer has been very busy planning our wedding. It started out as a small gathering, and grew into a big wedding! We had it at a beautiful golf course close to our home. Living in the country does have some benefits, my in-laws were able to raise a pig for our dinner. Now that is country living! We had perfect weather and everything went off without a hitch. Now it's time to get back to the wonderful world of art!

My first motorcylce trip...

So, I have a fiance who LOVES to ride motorcycles! We took our first trip this past week. Started over on the west side of Michigan and rode all along Lake Michigan. Up to Mackinaw City. My favorite place was a lodge called THE LEGS INN. It was just north of THE TUNNEL OF TREES. This is some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. And to think it is right here in my home state! I think I am hooked on riding now.

My girls!

My youngest daughter turned 17! We went to lunch at our favorite little restaurant in Fenton, THE FRENCH LAUNDRY. After lunch we spent the whole afternoon shopping, shopping, shopping. Her favorite thing to do!!!!

My weird little dog again.

My weird little dog keeps me very amused. I just had to take a picture of how she sits. Her legs are backwards. This is how she always sits too. Very strange little dog.

Savannah

So after my recent trip to Savannah, I have started reading "MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL". I cannot put the book down! The book is about a true story of a murder that takes place in Mercer House.

I had never heard of this book, let alone the murder, but on our tour of Savannah, the guide asked who had read the book? Every hand went up but mine! I was one of the few had visited Savannah without reading it.

Book or not book, I love Savannah.

My weird little dog.

We rescued this weird little dog in September 2008. Her name is Dell. We are still not sure what she is. A miniature Boston terrier is what we have been told. But, some say that the breed does not exist. She may have been crossed with a bat somewhere along the way. She only weighs 7 lbs. She won't walk on any hard surface. Just drags her back legs along until she hits carpet again. Very strange little dog which makes her fit in perfect in my home!
